We take great pride in maintaining a clean and comfortable facility for your pet.

Our spacious, temperature-controlled boarding area ensures your pet stays comfortable, while our friendly and caring staff provides plenty of attention and care throughout their stay.

Should any medical problems arise during your pet’s stay, you can have peace of mind that our veterinarians will make sure they are treated appropriately.

Boarding Requirements

All boarding guests must be up-to-date on vaccinations. If your pet requires any vaccinations before staying with us, we are happy to provide them for an additional fee.

We require dogs to be up-to-date on:

• Canine Distemper/Parvovirus
• Rabies vaccine
• Bordetella (Kennel Cough) 
• Leptospirosis

We require cats to be up-to-date on:

• Feline Distemper
• Rabies vaccine

Reservations are preferred, especially during holidays, but we can generally accommodate last-minute or emergency boarding needs. To ensure availability, please schedule your pet's stay ahead of time.

Our boarding facility is open for drop-off and pick-up whenever the office is open.

Natural Disasters:

You should also be aware that in the rare occasions we have natural disasters that may be threatening our area, we will act in the best interest of your pet by contacting you ahead of time and relinquishing your pet back into your care. We are not a hurricane shelter and cannot house or care for any pets during natural disasters as we are in a flood zone. The best place for your pet to be in this type of event is in your care and we will make every reasonable attempt to contact you in the event of a natural disaster.

Behavior policy (applies to both cats and dogs):

Aggressive or Unsafe Behavior Policy Boarding can be stressful for pets for a variety of reasons. We make every effort to minimize stress and provide a safe, comfortable environment for all pets in our care. The safety of our staff, clients, and pets is our highest priority. We reserve the right to discontinue boarding services for any pet whose behavior poses a safety risk.

If your pet is unwilling to voluntarily enter or exit a kennel/cage, or displays behaviors that could endanger staff or other pets (including, but not limited to, lunging, growling, hissing, biting, scratching, or other aggressive behavior) you will be contacted and required to arrange prompt pickup of your pet.

If your pet cannot be picked up, anti-anxiety medication and/or sedation will be prescribed at the veterinarian's discretion to allow for safe handling and continued care. Any medications, examinations, treatments, or monitoring required as a result of your pet's behavior will be charged to the owner.

During non-business hours, only one team member is available to care for boarding pets. If your pet cannot be safely handled by a single team member and cannot be picked up promptly, an additional team member will be required to provide care. In such cases, boarding charges will be increased to twice the standard nightly boarding rate for each night that additional staffing is necessary.

• Vaccinations handled in-house: If your pet requires updated vaccinations prior to boarding, we can take care of those needs before their stay. When possible, we recommend allowing two weeks between vaccination and boarding.
• Access to veterinary services: Wellness exams or other medical services can be scheduled during your pet’s stay if needed.
• Open communication: Our team is always happy to answer questions about our boarding facilities, policies, and your pet’s individual care plan.
